Cassandra (Cass) Allen, MSW, RSW, is a Child and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting children, youth, and their families through life’s challenges. Grounded in attachment theory and family systems approaches, Cass believes that meaningful change happens in the context of safe, connected relationships. She values working with the whole family whenever possible, recognizing the powerful role caregivers play in a child’s emotional growth and well-being.
Cass’ background includes experience in family services, education, crisis intervention, and residential settings, giving her a broad understanding of the systems that shape children’s lives. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Laurentian University, a Master of Social Work from King's University College and is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Cass feels honoured to walk alongside families as they strengthen relationships and move toward greater emotional well-being.

Cass is committed to creating a warm, welcoming space where children feel safe to express themselves and caregivers feel supported and understood. Her approach is strengths-based and client-led, and eclectic to meet the family’s needs. Through collaboration and compassion, she helps families deepen connection, build resilience, and navigate challenges with greater confidence. As a queer social worker, Cass brings both lived experience and clinical insight to her work, offering a deeply affirming and compassionate space where 2SLGBTQIA+ children, youth, and families can feel safe to show up as their full selves.
