Nelly is deeply passionate about supporting mental health and wellbeing. She works with individuals and families to navigate life’s challenges while recognizing the vital role of community and relationships in healing. Drawing on her background in childcare, case management, and anti-bias work, Nelly brings a wealth of experience to her practice with people of diverse ages, cultures, and ethnicities.
Nelly is qualified as a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She is committed to providing equitable, ethical, and culturally responsive care. Nelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Childhood Studies and Linguistics and a Bachelor of Social Work from King’s University College. She is currently completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor.


Nelly's Approach
Nelly's therapeutic approach includes various techniques including Afrocentrism— a holistic, relationship-based framework rooted in acknowledging African ancestry, culture, generational trauma, spirituality, and traditional healing practices. As a Bilingual woman of African descent, Nelly brings a unique perspective that allows her to understand and honour her clients’ lived experiences. She collaborates with individuals and families to co-create tailored treatment plans that reflect their strengths and needs.
